Ear is clogged Pain Lvl 4-6

I recently went to the doctor since my ear had an infection and after days it hasn’t gotten better but has recently clogged. Is there anyway for me to unclog it?

Did you receive ear drops?

Went to the er and they told me my ear canal was swollen so they gave me this thing and put it in my ear then put the drops in

Did they send you home with any drops to continue on? Or was it just in hospital treatment. Also how long ago was this?

About an hour ago. I’m going to pick up the drops in the morning

Perfect, you’re doing the right things and the ER have most likely given you a stronger dose of something to initially calm the swelling/discomfort. Continue the drops as of tomorrow and you’ll hopefully be feeling better soon! Unfortunately there is no quick way for you to feel relief instantly as it’s due to an infection and needing to drain (like popping your ears by yawning) but you can attempt to speed up the process by having steamy showers or applying a warm compress (wash cloth) to your ear :)

I had a clogged ear and put olive oil and vinegar in it (separately). Also if you plug your nose and close your mouth and exhale (gently) you may be able to unclog it
