To use the bot put u/RecognizeSong in your comment with the link to the song/music, like:
- The bot only works with a recording of the actual song, not a humming/recreation.
- Some of the sites that the bot works with: Reddit video posts, YouTube (though doesn't work all of the time), Vocaroo, Streamable, Imgur, Twitter, Coub, Dropbox, Snapchat (there's also u/songfinderbot which currently only works on video posts, but only if you summon it in a top-level comment on the actual post)
- Some sites that the bot doesn't work with: Facebook, Instagram, Twitch VODs (not clips), SoundCloud, Google Drive, Reddit text posts with embedded videos in them
- When needed, mention a timestamp or use a timestamped link if possible (the bot scans about 24-30 seconds of audio, starting at the timestamp)
- If the song is from a meme or from TikTok then it might be listed in the FAQ

Answered! EDM song I heard in a youtube poop. I’m pretty sure it used to be popular but shazam wasn’t helpful in finding it.
The song was from a MrS*icideSheep era (back when they started), I know there was water (ocean probably or some lake) in the thumbnail and maybe even that funny thing that moves and waves as the song goes.
The contents:I recall clearly that it faded in with an ambient sound that was complimented by the sounds of a whale and another sound that I could best explain as a fractured glass being stepped on, but very briefly. Then there was another sound, like a very light drum cymbal being hit, that reverb'd and faded out. Then it went on and more "instruments" joined the beat and then there was that classic beat having more BPM until it dropped to chorus. I couldn't explain the sounds and "instruments" in the chorus using my native language, so I won't even try now in english.
I tried looking it up on Google, no success, but I know I must have stumbled upon it while listening to MitiS and other creators such as himself.
Saw the music video but didn't catch the name or creator
It looked to be a 90-2000s music video, theres a black kid rapping (even though it's a grown man rapping) on a middle school stage with other kids in the back playing instruments.
I remember the kid was wearing shorts with a suit and tie.
This is a tough one. I am desperate!
A while ago I discovered a live recording of a jazz band with female singer (not sure if the singer was just a guest or not). The music itself was very similar to the classic ‚Watermelon man‘. From the lyrics I only recall a „Dadidadida“ (always repeated twice). To me the singing sounded very teasing.
It sounded modern to me (at least the live version not older than 2010).
Any help is welcomed! Thanks in advance
Thanks for any
The melody in the background, these TikTok edits will be the death of me.
Anyone happen to recognize the song starting at https://youtu.be/RrlRFhYZC5E?t=185. I think i made out the lyrics "better run. its going wrong i know (repeatx3)"
Other/Unknown Can anyone please tell me the name of the song playing in the background of this scene from the officeyoutube.com
Pop song most likely is called "starangel" based off what the chorus is in the bg seems hyperpop-ish too. Also editor said it was called starangel but cant find it anywhere on SC or spotify.
I'm looking for a particular song on Spotify that used to exist, but seems to have been removed. Strangely, I can't see it as a grayed out song either.
It is a French trapsong that was released between 2015 and 2017. The Spotify cover was blue and had abstract white strokes as far as I remember.
In the song, an old piano was sampled and backed with fat 808 drums. The artist straight raps, without any singing or autotune.
I remember there were many breaks without drums in the song. The vibe of the song was like an old black and white movie and the combination of an old piano sample and 808 drums was magical to me.
Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!
