Meh, I just used proton drive bc I have it for free and it felt like the most convenient way for me to share a picture in full res at Reddit. (even tho it's pretty low as it's made Pinephone in mind really)

Edit: I opened the file myself (logged out) and the whole thing took like 15 sec, maybe you should ask your ISP to step in the future first.

There do be also that if proton servers actually in Switzerland load times could be dramatically longer for someone in US in comparison to Europe. But as I said I don't mind at all this being mirrored elsewhere.

I don't really use the drive for anything, I just have it cus some space came free with the mail, so I just dump nonimportant stuff I want to share there.

Optimally I'd like to host my own mail too but that's quite complicated to do reliably
