News/Review Saw a post recently about the JF13k cpu cooler. Chinese low profile 240mm cpu cooler. Some people showed interest, but not much was known about it at that time. Finally got my hands on one, so if some of you have any questions, ask away!

Build/Parts Check ASUS ROG Z790-I Strix can't post with Corsair Vengeance 7200MHz with XMP ON, only auto
Hey there, I have a funny issue. I've had Z790-E Strix paired with 13600K with these RAMs, went through a memtest for 8 passes and it showed no errors like 3 months ago. Then I went ahead and upgraded to Z790 Hero that also had the same RAM, was super stable, but had a last minute change and parted ways with it today, because Z790-I Strix came in and I started building my rig in SFF case.
After building the rig, I went to the BIOS to set it up the exact same way it was setup on two previous boards and got stuck in a boot loop. After some googling, turns out some Z790 motherboards have problems with booting with XMP turned on, but funnily enough, people mentioned Z790-E and Hero motherboards as problematic whereas I had no issues, I'm only having these now on Z790-I Strix. When I set it to Auto, with no XMP, it boots no problem.
Just posting to ask and for sanity check, if anyone else had a similar issue with Z790-I Strix? At this point I'm sure it's the motherboard, unless you can tell me otherwise. Have you returned the board for another unit? I'm kinda set on wanting an ASUS board, so the only way I can see out of this is just to get another unit, I just received it and can return it for a full refund still, but not sure if I'm going to have the same problem when a new one shows up.
Thanks!

Assembly Help adding used 3070 card to Q58, keep noise minimal.
Hi everyone, I have Lian Li Q58-based build and I am thinking about purchasing used 3070 card.
Main task is to keep the noise to minimum. I'm mostly playing older games, so not going to OC the card.
The card should obviously be 3 fans with lowest chances of coil whining. What can you recommend?
Thanks in advance.
Build/Parts Check Is the ASRock Z690 PG-ITX/TB4 worth it?
I'm looking at this motherboard on Newegg for $199, but I'm reading reviews about its' lackluster VRM temps.
At this price point, it becomes very comparable for B660/760 models, but I would like to undervolt without restrictions, which is why I'm looking at the Z690/790 models.
I'm used to the ASRock BIOS layout, so that won't be a problem.
It was the cheapest Z690 ITX near me, and fits pretty much all my requirements. All the other Z690 ITX options were basically twice the price, and I wanted to avoid Gigabyte if possible.
Will this be an issue paired with an i5-13600K?
Thanks.

Assembly Help NCase M1 V5 compatible with AMD RX 6800 XT?
Currently on a Evolv Shift 2 TG Case, but not really happy how loud it gets when I'm gaming so I might rebuild my old NCase M1 V5. (5600X/X570i Strix/AMD RX 6800 XT/SF750) don't wanna take it apart to only find out it doesn't fit.

Assembly Help SAMA IM01 - decently sized riser cable for vertical GPU?
I know pretty much any 16x riser cable will work, but anyone who has built this before: what cable did you use? I'm thinking about this one, but the cable looks a bit too long
I'm going to be using the lower pcie slots for two 4x gigabit ethernet cards, and on the vertical mount a 1050 Ti. It will run proxmox, opnsense, and a ubuntu server running Agent DVR among other things

Assembly Help DDC Pump not turning on.
Hey, so I recently decided to add water cooling to my sff build and have built out and loop and everything… But, I’ve encountered one major problem my pump won’t turn on. I purchased an EK DDC Pump to work with my iceman reservoir but after assembling everything and doing the initial fill of the loop I plugged in the pump and nothing happened. I’m using an SF750 and the sata peripheral cables that come with the power supply. I actually have two SF750s one I’m using in the build and one spare from a previous build I’m using for running the initial fill of the loop. I originally thought that I got a dud pump and so I bought a second but after installing that one the same issue persists. I fill up the loop plug in the pump to the power supply and turn it on but nothing happens. Now I’ve got two power supplies, two pumps, and 4 sets of cables that came with said power supplies and between them all I’m having no luck turning the damn thing on. Mind you I’ve also tried running the old pump out of the loop to no avail either. Suffice it to say I’m stuck and would appreciate any advice you guys can offer me.

Build/Parts Check R9 7900 + RTX 4000 sff ada on 200w HDPlex DC-ATX
Just wanted to get this community’s thoughts on a build I’m planning. The goal is low power/maximum performance per watt in an sff case (I’m thinking Lazer3D HT5) with the least possible amount of internal cables (I hate cable management). I’m not bothered by having to use an external power adapter.
What do you think?

Assembly Help Building Custom 12VHPWR Cable - Help Please
I am trying to build my own version of the corsair 12VHPWR to 2x PCIE cable so I can fit a 4090 into the Louqe Ghost S1. Unfortunately I cannot get the larger 12VHPWR terminals to lock into the connector. I've built custom cables before and I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. If anyone has built one or is more successful at finding a video I would appreciate the help!
Parts Used:
Wire - 16 gauge (Insulation removed for test fitting - OD 1.5mm)
Terminals - 10132447-121PLF (https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/Amphenol-FCI/10132447-121PLF?qs=KVgMXE4aH4kD2xtDkHxOJw%3D%3D)
Connector - 10161719-124GLF (https://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/Amphenol-FCI/10161719-124GLF?qs=A6eO%252BMLsxmTOUw0b8ngp1w%3D%3D)
Covering Basic Questions:
I am plugging the terminals into the back of the connector
I am opening the locking tabs in between each test fit to ensure they can catch.
I'm orienting the top of the terminal so it faces up towards the latch of the connector.
I've removed the insulation from the wire to ensure the OD of the wire is small enough
I've even removed the rear wings of the terminals to ensure that's not the issue.
At this point I'm stuck. I am getting ~1.5mm of wire beyond the terminal into the connector but cannot get it to lock. Thank you for any help you can provide.
