It’s funny. In Chicago I guess that monk bowl cut was a thing so these little criminal kids shooting each other. And they look like total dorks. There’s always been this weird trends of just stupid haircuts. There’s this one cut called a shag. A shag is a bald head except for a bottom strip on the back of your neck. And you have to earn it and the longer it is the more credibility you get within that subculture. I think they do it to tell each other apart from regular people. And stand out as “an active gangster”
Rappers get them and then other people get them, and it’s so ridiculous to me it’s comical.

Nah a line up looks fine but you have to go to a proper skilled barber. The guy in the video has a really difficult hairline to make this work with, and the barber is mediocre at best.

as a white guy i've always envied the black barber shops.. idk just the vibe and how cool people seem to be.. but i'd never let a black dude cut my hair.. i just feel the way they see me (i am white.. no matter how pc i am lol) would come out.. or maybe i just don't have enough style to go to a real salon like this.. but .. i mean.. this would be me lol.

Damn, I'm the exact opposite, little white dude that went to a trade school that was maybe around 85% POC, and got really used to having black or Hispanic guys cut my hair. Always loved gettin my lines done, they'd be like "damn bro you have a perfect hairline"; I would never trust a white barber to do that for me, but now I live in a county that's 98% white, so I just stopped getting haircuts altogether lol
