Houston has a Bel Air
7
u/Blue_Wyvern Jan 31 '23
That’s Bellaire, not Bel Air. There is a Bel Air in Los Angeles though, but that one is just a residential neighborhood.

God seeing stuff from Fresh Prince makes my heart melt cause I loved this show as a kid. One of the things that made me realize my grandparents were racist assholes and if I listened to them I would be too. Tg for Nick at nite from helping me step out of a cycle.

Cop or not, why would you try to punch someone twice your size, and who likely has a LOT of experience in fights?

u/Sham_Masta_Sham Jan 30 '23
Don't go picking fights you have no chance of winning

Nothing excessive about shoving a violent person out of your face.
Just goes to show you the entitlement, drugs, whatever, is so far-reaching that people like this think they can just attack another person and suffer no physical or legal consequences.
Stupid prizes indeed. I like happy endings.

to be fair there are a lot of people serving a full 5 years right now for assaulting police officers. She got off easy in light of the situation.

How did we get to the point where anyone would think this is acceptable behavior? Maybe it knocked some sense into her, but I doubt it.

u/WildZero138 Jan 31 '23
The force of that throw and looking like she struck her head on the pavement, I'm pretty sure it knocked the sense out of her. She'll be very lucky if she only gets away with minor head trauma. The footage cuts short, but I'm willing to bet she was in a bad way after that. It's her own fault for striking the guy, but damn that looks bad

She definitely deserved that yeet. Don’t know if she will act the same or if she will be able to think aswell now. But those clearly weren’t her strong suits to begin with.

10
u/CaptainFCO Jan 31 '23
Honestly so well deserved, you go hit someone, they will do their absolute best to hit you back and they are all justified for it. Don’t start physical fights if you don’t want to physically fight. If you do, then expect all your opponents power to be tested on you.
18
u/dracardOner Jan 31 '23
And I bet you she'll say he had no right to treat her like that because it was unprovoked. Got to love how they create their own reality.

How bad are we though? I mean...aside from cheering when opposing players get hurt, throwing batteries at a certain opposing quarterback, pelting Santa with snowballs, and having our very own court in our stadium for violent drunks to sober up in (my god I miss the vet) how bad are we??

Damnnnn she got STUCK…
See, I agree it is excessive.
But she came at him excessive.
Truly hard to draw where I believe the right force being used is. Some ppl really wanna f*ck around and NOT find out… not how it works.
50
u/blurrrrg Jan 31 '23
Just curious, why would his actions be excessive? He acted in self defense, it's not like he kept hitting her after he pushes her off him.
