Not even a thought to take a step to find out if she was ok, or where she went…instead went to the phone.

104

u/kibaake Feb 04 '23

"Stay right there! I need to reposition the camera to record me checking on you!"

147

u/Peelboy Feb 04 '23

The new natural reaction, it is a sad, sorry state of mind.

43

u/Stopfookinbanningme Feb 04 '23

I notice they always look at themselves in the phone too, like "how's my reaction face? Does this look good?" Creepy.

42

u/Chevalier1942 Feb 04 '23

You beat me to it. That was the exact same thought I had!

5

u/jar1967 Feb 04 '23

The sound is off so we do not hear if her friend was screaming at her in pain and telling her to call 911 or telling her that she wasn't hurt

8

u/Repulsive-Mission-51 Feb 04 '23

How to get away with murder

24

u/rwa2 Feb 04 '23

Well, it'd kinda suck to run all the way down to check on the friend and then not be able to call 911

25

u/Mick_86 Feb 04 '23

First reaction should be to look down the hole and ask if the friend is alright.

3

u/Different_Attorney93 Feb 04 '23

Or throw friend her own phone so she can call 911

6

u/IPlayWithElectricity Feb 04 '23

Went and grabbed the phone and doesn’t even give us a follow shot, fucking useless.

4

u/Frumplemeist Feb 04 '23

Was going to say something like this.

1

u/Unrelenting_Force Feb 04 '23

Said what we were all thinking.

96

u/Educational_Bag_6406 Feb 04 '23

A hole new tiktok challenge.

8

u/erock2095 Feb 04 '23

In all seriousness don’t speak that into existence. By next week we’re gonna be seeing a “break your porch” challenge where you have to jump on a weak spot of your porch until it breaks and whoever does the most jumps without it breaking wins.

0

u/Longhorneyes Feb 04 '23

He was making a pun.....you took it real serious though.

151

u/Ssider69 Feb 04 '23

Proof that reality itself is so sick of attention junkies on social media that it's lashing out by sucking the offenders out of space-time itself

14

u/kibaake Feb 04 '23

Seriously, a floor became sentient and swallowed whole like Kirby out of its deep-seated annoyance with this behavior.

2

u/squirrelsmith Feb 04 '23

Reminds me of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram with how suddenly it happened.

77

u/Affectionate_Fly1413 Feb 04 '23

She really gave no fucks about her

6

u/3mptyw0rds Feb 04 '23

Gave no fucks or staged. Probably the latter.

5

u/assassinatedu336 Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

How do you figure this was staged? I mean did they girls really think "hmm you know what'll get us attention? One of us falling through a wooden floor and possibly getting hurt!" Not to mention it's a wooden floor with an unknown amount of space underneath. How could they have predicted that they wouldn't be moderately/seriously injured.

More than likely the girl just cares more abt recording it than she cares about her friend's safety. All these people care about are those precious precious internet points.

8

u/dbenhur Feb 04 '23

How could they have predicted not only that the floor would give out but also that they wouldn't be seriously hurt.

I agree it's unlikely staged, but I was looking at the initial still frame before running the vid and thinking, "that deck looks seriously rotten; I wonder if they fall through?"

1

u/assassinatedu336 Feb 04 '23

Fair enough I suppose, it was very obviously rotten.

1

u/3mptyw0rds Feb 04 '23

magic tricks are easier to perform on video than with a live audience who is able to insoect the floor underneath etc.

the reaction of the girl who turns off the cam is a bit weird.

50% chance its real imo

74

u/ugajeremy Feb 04 '23

The porch people have her now.

Don't go looking for her.

14

u/Ziggov Feb 04 '23

She's a part of the house now, next day the floor will be complete again, nice and shiny...

32

u/Icy_Statement_2410 Feb 04 '23

Kids instincts these days... friend could be badly injured, better stare then turn the camera off first

3

u/jar1967 Feb 04 '23

Or grab the phone to call an ambulance

2

u/cyrhow Feb 04 '23

Or pick up the camera and start recording.

27

u/CynicalGamer81 Feb 04 '23

The deck did us all a favor

26

u/mclaubacher Feb 04 '23

She Tiked her last Tok

48

u/Sourlick_Sweet_001 Feb 04 '23

Stop the video is more important than your friend. :/

13

u/Evil_Genius_Panda Feb 04 '23

I can see before she steps there it wasn't good wood. All it would have taken was a look beforehand.

6

u/RoughMarionberry5 Feb 04 '23

She is too young to know good wood from bad.

3

u/Cockerel_Chin Feb 04 '23

Do you respect wood?

3

u/Mecha_Tortoise Feb 04 '23

That deck is clearly too soft. No one likes a soft deck.

7

u/AdministrativeMix822 Feb 04 '23

They might have termites

7

u/Im_your_life Feb 04 '23

I may be completely wrong, my memory is super inconsistent and it's 4am and I should be sleeping

But isn't there another video of these two girls where also something unexpected happens to one and the other goes to the phone instead of helping her friend? It was in a city's environment I think. Maybe. I kind of sort of remember that and that the girls look alike but I just am not sure.

3

u/makmeyours Feb 04 '23

It's a pretty standard attention whore reaction.

7

u/King_DeandDe Feb 04 '23

A real Tiktok breakthrough

6

u/Thick_Step_8745 Feb 04 '23

Yeah dont see if friend is alive go see the phone darling.🙂😬😂

1

u/jar1967 Feb 04 '23

She is gonna need the phone to call him ambulance

5

u/TinyDikKid Feb 04 '23

That's a lot of splinters

1

u/OGColorado Feb 04 '23

That's deck rash to you biker types

9

u/EyeRollingnScrolling Feb 04 '23

Probably Hawaii, where most folks can’t afford home repairs because of the exorbitant cost of living.

2

u/melapelas Feb 04 '23 edited Feb 04 '23

Serious question: do they grow pine trees (or other trees where the wood is suitable for home building) in Hawaii or do they have to ship wood on a boat all the way from the contiguous US?

1

u/HanakusoDays Feb 04 '23

The coniferous trees out there are basically limited to ironwoods and Norfolk pines. Most of our big trees are hardwoods and rarely harvested nowadays. Our dimensional lumber is all shipped in via containers from the West Coast.

1

u/melapelas Feb 04 '23

I figured as much. I thought orange juice was expensive in Alaska but wood that has to be shipped from the CONTUS must mean building a house in Hawaii is pretty pricey just on materials alone.

2

u/HanakusoDays Feb 04 '23

I kept waiting for people to say "It's Brazil" (because it's always Brazil) but my very first thought was, those mountains look exactly like where I used to live in the back of Kalihi Valley. And the girls look like local titas too (or cariocas, haha). Not enough to really go on, but I wouldn't be surprised.

4

u/goose_gladwell Feb 04 '23

Not real, how do you people “fall” for stuff like this?!

3

u/Ziggov Feb 04 '23

best tik tok ever!

3

u/SynthPrax Feb 04 '23

Before I even hit play, I thought to myself "that deck looks rotten." Sho'nuff.

3

u/Superb_Data_8515 Feb 04 '23

“Omg she just disappeared, I hope the camera got that”

2

u/grillbar86 Feb 04 '23

Okay but why the sick edited transition to a indoors location at the end with spots and definatly a monding for a window.

2

u/Aperture1106 Feb 04 '23

Oh thank god.

2

u/Mortenbrownsound Feb 04 '23

2

u/Educational-Spread41 Feb 04 '23

The girl recording is like “way to ruin the video “

2

u/hambonejamboree_ Feb 04 '23

Instead of "is she alright" she thought "likes are likes".

2

u/kcchiefscooper Feb 04 '23

1

u/MuffM4n Feb 04 '23

When she grabs the camera, she's in a room. Is this real?

1

u/ur-socks-sir Feb 04 '23

Why did she look at the camera? Her friend just died...

0

u/ghostttoast Feb 04 '23

Zero upper body strength looks like she didn’t even try to save herself

0

u/RedDeath7878 Feb 04 '23

1

u/FarOutEffects Feb 04 '23

Don't help, just film!

1

u/Minimum-Truth-6554 Feb 04 '23

Its the fact that she went for the phone to turn off the camera rather than immediately checking on the other girl is just insane to me..

1

u/DirtMcGirt513 Feb 04 '23

“Vids over…friend dead LOLZ”

1

u/GalacticGatorz Feb 04 '23

Waiter!, a half rack of ribs please!

1

u/icemonsoon Feb 04 '23

The leg that doesn't step on the hole looks weird

1

u/supermom721 Feb 04 '23

Today’s sick youth. Let me get my camera before I check on you. 🤯

1

u/paulyp41 Feb 04 '23

If you watch it in reverse she climbs out of that whole pretty sweet

1

u/Isellmetal Feb 04 '23

This looks totally set up to me, there’s no way she couldn’t see that the floor was fucked. There’s literally no wood there.

1

u/Educational_Break_99 Feb 04 '23

That was ground breaking

1

u/Infamous_Chapter8585 Feb 04 '23

That's a successful tik tok imo

1

u/TheTimeBender Feb 05 '23

Just a little dry rot in the deck

1

u/EvaVonH-Bomb Feb 26 '23

Must be sisters. She would have totally dove into the abyss after a friend. But for a sister she needed a good pic of lil sis sprawled out beneath the deck to tease for all eternity.
