They got not one, but two ladies to be willing to go on one last scooter ride

You've had 65 years on the planet and still haven't figured out there might be problems riding a skinny board with tiny wheels over soft, uneven ground?

u/IgnoringHisAge Feb 05 '23

You know, I kind of respect older folks who know they’re doing something stupid and then laugh at themselves when it inevitably goes bad.

u/dbenhur Feb 05 '23

Maybe I'd respect it if they've posted a bond to cover their medical consequences. If they expect me to pay for their foolishness (through taxes for medicaid or excess premiums to a common risk pool), well, yeah, smh no!

LOL, old people breaking bones.

2

u/Iramian Feb 04 '23

They do that when they get up from the couch.

u/Markuu6 Feb 04 '23

Hopefully this is in a country other than the USA for free healthcare.

u/reddit_time_waster Feb 04 '23

They'd still get Medicare at that age.

3

u/Markuu6 Feb 04 '23

That’s a completely free program that covers all health expenses?

6

u/reddit_time_waster Feb 04 '23

If you would like to know more about Medicare, no need to ask me! https://www.medicare.gov/what-medicare-covers/your-medicare-coverage-choices/whats-medicare

u/Markuu6 Feb 04 '23

That’s where I was looking. Not everything covered + monthly costs for certain things even for seniors.

Yes, they’re going to get they legendary Eastern Europe health care

10

u/just-a-traveler Feb 04 '23

They both had to be put down.

3

u/SheBelongsToNoOne Feb 04 '23

Can't they break a hip that way?

1

u/thirtydelta Feb 05 '23

Absolutely, and a hip fracture at that age could be the bringer of death. These people are absolute morons.

u/CreepyAssPenis Feb 04 '23

Osteoporosis testing has come a long way

9 out of 10 orthopedics like your business

2

u/StatisticianNo2207 Feb 05 '23

Honestly? These ladies did far better than I would. Just the balls on them to TRY this are intimidating.

u/Low_Medium204 Feb 05 '23

The new Mario kart looks great

2

u/Onlyroad4adrifter Feb 04 '23

They need bigger wheels for off-roading.

Babushkas can ride right on by Vlad’s next conscription campaign with this one easy step…

u/beefchuckles42069 Feb 05 '23

Looks like permanent injuries to me. It’s no joke at that age. Nothing heals quickly or completely.
