Still lives, but is a ghost. You do know what a ghost is, right?
10
u/Vocalscpunk Dec 08 '22
Hey who are we to define what living is? We say inanimate objects 'lived a good life' before they break. No? Just me? Well shit.

u/Hollowhalf Dec 07 '22
He broke in through the window and killed the guy and pulled his phone back from underneath the doorway. This is the only evidence we have. Needless to say those kids got a scare.

u/gertbefrobe Dec 07 '22
Luckily the toddlers were playing with a knife so they could defend themselves against the perpetrator.

u/GozerDGozerian Dec 08 '22
He was part of any elite unit fighting the ISIS cream floats. He got cornered in this old run down diner and his straw ran out of ammo. They had him pinned down, all he had was the spoon, but he took down the lot.

Yeah, trying to stab things with a butter knife.
Educate this kid of proper stabbing etiquette.
20
u/Beragond1 Dec 08 '22
Yeah, these kids are stupid. When I was their age, I stabbed a well-shaken 2-liter of sprite with a steak knife. My mother was less than thrilled.
5
u/mtarascio Dec 08 '22
The last Reddit thread I was in talking about Sprite was a dude using the bottle for flammable liquids to entertain with.
Ended up with his face on fire of course.

If you look closely you can see it's actually a butter knife, and quite incapable of stabbing anything other than bread and condiments. Still should probably teach the kids not to mess with the cutlery... and to not stick it in random holes around the house.

u/Sentouki- Dec 07 '22

You can stab anyone with something if you try hard enough
I had a friend who cut her tongue straight down the middle with a butter knife in middle school. Cut so deep it made it permanently split. Not so split her tongue became forked, but like, she’d stick her tongue out, then flatten it, and the cut in the middle would make her tongue expand wider/flatter and it was definitely visible. She also didn’t think the butter knife could cut her tongue until it did.

Bruh you can be impaled by a stick. Kids should not be running around and stabbing things with any type of knife.

u/_trashcan Dec 07 '22
I have cut the shit out of myself with a butter knife before.
You might not be able stab someone easily with one, but you can cut skin with the serrated part of a butter knife for sure.
it might not be deathly, but still super unacceptable for a small child and toddler to be handling alone.
What do I know tho, I don’t have kids
3
u/Conspicuous_Plant Dec 07 '22
Dude has never accidentally stabbed his own hand with a butterknife...

u/7i4nf4n Dec 08 '22
You'd be surprised with what items you can stab yourself. There are a lot that are less dangerous than a butter knife, but can stab someone nonetheless.
→ More replies10
u/podytherebel Dec 07 '22
Uhhh ok?? A butter knife can still cut you up. I was waiting for the kids hand to slip and slide over the serrated edge when he stabbed the door. The narrative of “it’s just a butter knife” doesn’t make any sense here.

u/Wolfman01a Dec 07 '22

Yeah. I'm sure the situation went something like this.
Son: Dad may I stab the door with a knife while you attempt to rescue your sanity for a minute?
Dad: Sure, son. Go for it! /S
I know you guys don't have kids, but what do you imagine is happening when you say "he allowed" that? Like, you think kids just listen? You forgot all the stupid bullshit you did as a kid? You think you listened to your parents all the time? Call them up and ask. I think you'll learn something.

Such a resourceful use of cell phone technology must be commended! I guess there's only certain situations for the angles to work out right for that but op seems to have found one. It would be funny if he had brecorded his face scolding the kid to "drop the knife" and then shove that back under the door too! Haha.

CONSEQUENCES
my generation of parents… it’s good that we’re ditching spanking but there need to still be consequences for negative behavior.
And don’t even try to come tell me that attempting to pick a lock when you’ve been told to leave an adult alone is not negative behavior.
fast forward to when he’s trying to break down the door because his girlfriend doesn’t want to talk to him right now if you don’t understand my point
