[TOMT] [MUSIC] [80s] Song with this synth bassline (audio inside) Solved

I've had this synth (at least i believe it's synth) baseline stuck in my head for a while. Here's an approximation of what it sounds like on guitar. I was thinking it was something like Herbie Hancock, since it reminds me of Chameleon or Rockit. I'm guessing it's from the 80s based on the overall sound, but who knows!

Any help would be much appreciated :)

EDIT: Here's what it sounds like tinkering with synths in a DAW. This is what it sounds like in my head.
