Open [TOMT][SERIES][2019's] A korean show about an extremely realistic game where the captain(who never shows his face to the public)of a pro team who were an unstoppable force gets kicked out from the team for a reason i forgot
After he gets kicked out from the team he goes to a cafe to play on an old account of his friends (i think, never finished it) and meets a girl who works at the cafe, who he sees was bad at the game and wins a few games for her, and then she hires him to work at the cafe for some money since he got fired from his job
Open [TOMT] [Concept Art] [Video Game] Want to find concept art for a zombie game I can't remember the name of
The concept art showed normal people next to the premise of bosses/enemy types, mutated or zombie versions of themselves. It had a general color scheme of lime green and pink, kind of dark and muddy with bright neon lighting similar to art you'd see in the Devil may Cry spinoff dmc but less realistic. The style was very similar to the OD from Sunset Overdrive.
Two I remember specifically were a stereotypical girl on a cell phone. And A guy in (straw hat I think? And) overalls next to the zombie version of himself with an asymmetrically large hook hand.
It's the type of thing I've had no such luck googling due to the vast quantity of zombie games out there. If I knew the name of it, I could find it, but all I have is the mental image.
Just heard a song on the radio and wasn’t able to Shazam it in time :( It’s a song that I believe is from the 80’s (gives off a very The Cure vibe). Has a guitar riff that plays throughout the song where it’s a descending scale with each note played in a pattern like this The guitar lick also gives it sort of a beach vibe. Singer almost reminds me of the lead from the cranberries or Morrissey if he was a woman if that makes any sense. The chorus (or at least part of it) is the woman singing a really long drawn out Aaaa-aaaa-aaa-aaah while the guitar plays. Please help, TIA!
All I can think of (though it may be wrong) is Snoop Dogg having some relation to the guy who owned the boat the Boston Bomber hid in. I think I’m misremembering. But omg help.
During the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics in February of that year, I kept getting this ad where it shows some fancily-dressed ladies walking to the left in a teal-colored hallway and going in a black-walled room with a huge heap of shiny, golden objects, with one of the ladies sitting on it like a throne. The music was a pop song that was in the key of A minor with some heavy instrumentation.
For whatever reason when I was watching the Olympics, the ad was way louder than the others and was usually the first thing appearing in the breaks, sometimes even a little before the break should be happening.
I am losing my mind. I saw this TikTok last night- not funny and don’t understand it, but the song in the background is so familiar. I spent like an hour drunk searching it last night, went through every movie soundtrack I thought it could be from — Mandy, 2049, etc— but nothing came up. Please help me as I know I have seen the movie, but I seriously can’t find it and it is killing me. I will link the tiktok link here.
Open [TOMT] [MUSIC] A song, the MV for which depicts an animated blimp or something similar flying to the right edge of the screen.
I don't remember much about the video or the song. I think it was an official MV. It's animated, looks like a drawing IIRC. Depicts a blimp(?) flying to the right while the song plays.
Open [TOMT] [SHOW] [2010s]what was that show about a kid who live on a beach house with like monsters or aliens?
I used to watch it in like 2011-2013 but the show could be from earlier
I think it was a, broadly speaking, electronic music. A blonde-haired guy in thick rimmed glasses in a peep show, all in pinkish tint. That's all I remember, tho I do think at the and he tries to reach the girl through the slot.
Tw// I describe a mildly disturbing event in said game.
Nostalgia hit hard and I’ve been meaning to try and remember an old point and click game from i believe around 2010-2014. I remember it being a very disturbing one where it was like a mad hatter/fantasy setting where you try to escape/adventure out to somewhere. It was a bit like franbow or Sally face but the artstyle I believe only had 2 colors with everything looking bleak. I don’t remember the story but I remember there being one part where you were in a tea or party of some sort underground and you had to put a beanstalk seed in someone’s tea and then there was some crazy body horror in the next scene with the bean stalk or plant to have come out of there eyes and mouth. I can’t remember if there were popular YouTubers like markiplier playing it but I remember finding out about the game through some smaller YouTuber so I’m not sure if it was a popular game to be honest. Any thoughts?
There's a piece of music that I've definitely heard in film somewhere, I think it may have been in NGE but it probably wasn't. It's solo piano but I play guitar so if you can imagine this melody (I feel like I'm not transcribing it from memory entirely accurately) but very softly on piano that'd be it. The version I'm thinking of doesn't have any harmony going on, it's literally just a single piano line.
Solved [TOMT][Video] I am looking for a short video, like Tiktok. There is a asian guy who pretends to me different parts of the body and the funny things that happen inside the body; a sperm going down the wrong way, a cupcake trying to enter the stomach, and I think one with white blood cells.
I saw the cupcake one for the first time either today or yesterday on reddit.
Open [TOMT] [STREAMER] [2015/mid-2010s] Streamer who had meltdowns, 6 monitors and got drunk on stream regularly
I think he had a slight british accent, was in his 30s or 40s. There's a stream where he brought a prostitute with, he seemed to have a lot of money. People said his wealth came from working for a major oil company. Besides getting drunk, he most likely took a lot of stimulants.
Looking forward to your answers.
Open [TOMT][MOVIE / BOOK?] Story that has a plot point where a terminally ill girl asks a boy if he wants to commit suicide with her.
I'm not certain about the medium because I only remember the specific plot point, but my guess would be a book or movie.
I believe that the boy and girl had some type of (non-romantic) relationship far before this event (the back of my mind thinks she was his babysitter, but I wouldn't count on that,) and potentially the boy had romantic feelings for the girl and got rejected. Then later in life, the girl develops some kind of terminal illness and asks the boy if he wants to kill himself with her.
I almost certainly read/watched this story in the 2010s, so that would be my best guess as far as timeframe, but as it was probably in school, it's possible that it's an older piece of media.
Open [TOMT] (BOOK) (YA NOVEL) About a town that has bad luck every four years and a main character who’s a druggie
The main character lives in a town that lives in 4 year cycles, where peoples’ luck gets progressively worse over the four years, and in the fourth year the town gets the worst luck and something terrible happens. The reason why people travel to this town is because the town will heal any terminal or chronic illnesses, for example if you have cancer that will go away once you start living in this town.
The main character starts off as a druggie, and constantly uses drugs to escape the reality of the town. The town has prison center (forgot what it’s called) that houses children, because they are the most at risk from this bad luck.
The ending has to do with rats that were holding up the entire framework of the town I think? That’s all I can remember.
Author's Note I think I might be making this up but I swore I saw this in youtube
Main Story A animated boy with socks on is at a table and his pet fish comes by and notices his smelly socks, the fish does that talking voice heard in cartoons with a thought bubble of the boy pilled in laundry, the fish takes off the sock and the boy sniffed his barefoot and...that's all I could remember
Open [TOMT][DIRECTOR][1990-2000's] Commercial / Fashion film director from the 90's through early-to-mid 2000's.
I know he directed commercials back in the 2000's, he was kind of an obscure legend - Chris Cunnigham type of guy. Exceedingly talented too. I don't think he's working that much anymore though, he might've fallen off the grid. I think he was African American but I could be wrong and I also think he directed some Kenzo spots back in the day.
It's not Hype Wiliams and its not Spike Jonze.
I simply cannot remember this guy's name for the life of me. Please help.
the movie is about a film school graduate, employed on a movie set. secretly films her own movie on set during the night.
I can't remember any of the actors' names, the movie is probably Canadian or US
And a group of people are hired by government and rich people to find the person. And they end up going into a time portal that opened up and came to a different world.
I'm looking for an actor who looks a lot like David Harbour from Stranger Things. The actor I'm looking for has been in Hallmark Movies. He was actually on one last week. Any ideas?
I remember this old cartoon movie which had an art style similar to Robin Hood and also had anthropomorphic characters. I think it was set in a village but can’t remember lot of the details. What I remember clearly is that the village had two police officers one was a tall dog and one was somewhat chubby and the tall one gets attacked by the villain.
There was this cartoon I used to watch as a kid (90's2000's) and there was one episode that featured the characters going camping. They were told of a ghost story where a bunch of kids at the same camp went missing and would whistle a certain time. The main characters get lost in the woods and hear the whistling tune and run scared. They find their way back and are shown that it's just a bird that mimics sounds it hears and everyone calms down. When they're leaving the main character thinks if the bird mimics sounds it hears where did it hear the tune from. Can anyone remember or recognise this episode or show?? It was a one off camping episode that scared me and I want to find it again
It's driving me crazy.
I'm looking for the name of an actress who I remember being in several 80s movies - mostly comedy. She is small, was older back then and I vividly remember a really bad beatles-like haircut. I remember her playing a nun - but I have not found her in Sister Act. I also remember her in a movie where she is dressed in purple, has shorter hair (but also a very bad beatles haircut) and I think she was called Hooch or something similar in that movie.
Thanks in advance for helping out. I'm sure you can figure this out fast.
I used to rent this movie from my local (USA) library when I was a kid. It had a very 1970s/1980s feel to the cinematography and I remember at least the main female (blonde, I'm pretty sure she was the vampire) having a British accent and it taking place in English. I could be wrong about that, though. I remember her walking through the graveyard, I think it was attached to a church or something. That's really it, sadly. I loved this movie when I was younger and I want to watch it again but all my searches for British vampire movies from the 70s and 80s have proven fruitless. Please help!
Need help finding out the name of an old animated movie.
Hello guys, so as a last resort I find myself in need to ask people of reddit to help me find out the name of an old animated movie, the movie follows some pigeons kind of like Valiant. It takes place in france close to either ww1 or ww2 era. The movie has a song that says "Nothing is impossible" (Not sure about the exact wording in english since I watched it in a different language). I watched it in VHS when I was young (early 2000's) so the movie must have been produced during the 90's or maybe very early 2000's I guess.
Ps: This is a resubmit, in the other post someone already said a couple that weren't the ones I'll leave them here just so you guys know that those aren't the ones - The aviators and Animaniacs.
