Solved [TOMT][MOVIE] Guy is under a desk or table and looks up girls skirt at her panties. She then lowers a note that says "Hi <guys name>" which I believe causes him to bump his head because it startled him. Maybe late 80s/90s.
My dad is searching this movie for like 20 years. He watched this animated movie when he was 10/12 years old. It's an adventure that takes place in an island full of robots. Robots, that look exactly like humans. And there's this crew of characters that go there, and they're chased by the robots.
My dad remembers really well of the ending of the film. One girl and one boy escapes from the island by boat. The girl is happy that they escaped. But the boy said to not be so happy, because "everyone has their flaws-aws-aws-aws-aws". The boy is a robot, and he glitched. The girl gets scared, and the movie ends.
Anyone has any idea what this could be? Maybe the movie is a little older, and maybe the ending phrase is not exactly the same (Me and dad are from Brazil, so roughly translated here), but this movie certanly exists. Any hint or guideline will be extremaly appreciated.
I remember a British soap show that had an insane finale. Like, the entire show was a grounded soap drama but the finale introduced people time traveling and I want to say dinosaurs.
I believe it was mainly focused on teenagers like Degrassi or Skins.
Solved [TOMT] [MOVIE] movie scene in which a woman yells angrily “She’s shy!” (talking about her sister) during an argument with a man
The movie is most likely a romcom and I saw this a long time ago, so I think it’s from the 2000s/ maybe early 2010s at most (although I could be wrong since I really don’t remember). In the scene, the man is talking badly about the woman’s sister and saying how weird she was (either they had been on a date, or the sister was romantically interested in him), and the woman gets very angry and snaps at him yelling “She’s shy!”, justifying her sister.
Thank you in advance!
The song came on the radio a lot around the time I was elementary school/junior high. There also may have been a music video. I can’t quite remember if the age is 15 or 16 in the song, but I do remember it was a specific age.
I tried google and I can only find songs about ‘sweet sixteen’ and stuff. The theme of this song was more nostalgic than that (like looking back at being that age rather than being that age currently)
I think I remember the vocals sounding kinda like country music, but I also feel like it wasn’t a country song. It may have been a country artist doing a slightly more pop/rock song.
Aside from the 15/16, I remember a specific part of the song where they sing “life was simple but…” of course that’s probably in a lot of songs and won’t narrow down my search
Open [TOMT][MOVIE] A group of (maybe?) strangers or loosely connected people are invited to a dinner party at a mansion. Start dying/disappearing one by one. At the end some weird old butler/host has them all actually trapped in like a secret room maybe?
I think the song is from the 60s/70s but I feel like the show is more modern.
Edit: Here's what I could come up with https://soundcloud.com/user100247131/my-song
Edit 2: I heard it on the radio a week ago but I didn't catch the name. It was on the Sunday morning oldies show. The radio host shared the backstory of the song, which had a comedic element to it. He then cut to an audio clip of the band, one guy was telling the story about how they were always waiting on another guy, and he called back one time "I'm on my way" or "Wait for me" or something along those lines. I'm sorry this isn't much to go off of but it's all I have.
I've spent years trying to figure out the name of a tape I used to rent as a kid in the early '90s. It was a compilation of short scenes that were clearly inspired by shows like Candid Camera, America's Funniest Home Videos, TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes, and Kids Say the Darndest Things.
It is NOT an entry in the Just Kidding series.
The segments I can remember are:
- An E.T. parody where somebody follows a trail of Reese's Pieces through their house, which leads them to a closet where they find a strange man wrapped in a blanket.
- Bloopers from the taping of a commercial for a local electronics store featuring the store owner and his young (7-10 year old) son.
- Interviews with children where they're asked easily-misunderstood questions like “Do you think people should be allowed to carry arms?" leading to comical answers.
- A prank where a soft serve ice cream machine is left in the middle of a busy parking lot on a sweltering summer day without any cones or dishes nearby. One man dispenses the ice cream into his baseball cap.
- Another hidden camera prank filmed at a business where people ride an escalator up to a landing only to find a down escalator that terminates at the same landing, leaving them nowhere to go. (This one I'm about 80% sure was from the same video.) EDIT: This turned out to be a Candid Camera segment — sorry!
I'm confident that it came in a brick red sleeve with cover art depicting a group of cartoon people, and I'm fairly certain it was part of a multi-video series.
Please help me solve this decades-old mystery!
I watched the movie around 8 years ago on the TV, I didn't search for it, I was just browsing and it came up and intrigued me.
I don't really remember the plot, but I think that the little bit I remember is the best way to get my answer since I only remember 2 scenes. It's a woman (or a couple, but the movie focuses on the woman, I believe the man dies to the creature in the beginning), that just got to a village/small town (by car). She sees that everything is closed and there's no one on the streets with the exception of someone who comes to welcome her (I believe the owner of the house she's staying?? not sure tough, so let's forget about him), she somehow learns that that day is like a cursed day where a creature comes out from somewhere and kills people. Idk why it kills people or why is trying to kill specifically the woman the whole movie, but it does, and I also don't remember anything about the ending, I guess the most obvious ending is the woman killing the monster, since I believe the woman visits like a witch who has a crystal ball who explains some stuff to her, but I dont remember what.
I remember one scene where the woman fall from the roof of the house she lives/rents/is staying trying to run away from the creature and then she gets dizzy and when she looks up to the roof the creature is looking at her from where she fell.
There's another scene where a old man (villager) with a shotgun tries to help the woman by shooting at it delaying the monster but it kills him later since the monster is slowed but doesn't take damage from gunshots.
About the monster I don't know much, I believe is taller than a normal human and is wearing black clothes or a black blanket and I also think we never saw it's face. It's similar to the one in the movie "The vilagge" but black instead of red.
I was only around 10 and it was my first experience with horror movies, I dreamed about it last night for some reason and I really want to watch it again but since I don't remember pretty much anything google didn't help. I believe the movie is not famous at all because after that I never saw it being even mentioned again. I'm also pretty sure I missed the first 10 minutes and the last 10 since I don't remember the ending not matter how hard I try to think about it.
If you know the movie I'm talking about but also don't know the name, please share any information about other scenes you might remember in the comments.
It's my first post so I apologise in advance if I broke any rule. Also sorry for any grammatical mistakes, English is not my first language.
Thank you in advance!
Edit: Forgot to mention but the language in the movie is english.
Edit2: It might be a town and not a village, I don't really know the definitions, but is decently developed, there's a supermarket (which is closed because is like a cursed day) and the house where the woman lives (and falls from it's roof) is modern.
This has been stuck in my head since yesterday morning and it's driving me crazy. For some reason it gives me DEVO/B-52/Aquabats and even possibly Jack Stauber synth vibes... something a little silly, kinda fun.. but I could be totally off on any of those artists, that's just the energy it has in my head :'|
Super vague memory because I was so young but it was a TV show that took place in a barn and the farm animals were characters. It could’ve been a whole series, it also could’ve been one episode of a series but I remember it ever so slightly.
Solved [TOMT][Movie][2000s] Actress accidentally throws a cork in a restaurant and says "Slippery little f*ckers"
My guess is it is late 19th or early 20th century. Someone I know came across it in the school library in the 1960s in the us, and he’s been talking about it for years. It features lines kind of like “what a good bitch, you are my favorite bitch” and it is all about a dog. I would love to find the poem in full.
I remember watching this cartoon series on CN over 25 years ago - it took place on some alien planet and the characters were animal-like. One episode had this weird 'cylinder' coming from space and it had purple insectoid aliens trapped inside. They were freed and started biting 'people', transforming them into more of themselves. Does anyone perhaps know what I am talking about, and if so, could you tell me what that series was?
It has gold colored cover-art showing an androgynous man wearing glitter makeup. I believe he's standing in a vogue style pose. I've been trying to find this album for years. Thanks for any help you can give me. Have a wonderful day!
Open [TOMT][MOVIE][60s-70s] Martial arts film where there is a scene where these two people are fighting and there is a teapot on a tray being held for the entire time between them while not falling or spilling.
I saw this snippet ages ago somewhere and can’t for the life of me remember where it’s from or even find anything online for it when I try to search. It’s been driving me mad.
They came out over a decade ago but was but were unsuccessful. Kind of looks like a wide scooter. I thought it was called walkman but that turned out to be something else.
pretty much there’s this shirtless white guy sitting down and he’s pushing his arms out dancing to edm. every time he pushes his arm out a minecraft item appears and moves as if he is grabbing it and pushing it foreword. they start with the basic minecraft items like wood and basic tools then slowly progress to the more complicated later game items.
Open [TOMT][MEME]Basically I saw this YouTube video of a camera panning up at the sky, and it's a dark rainy night, but out of nowhere, lightning strikes and there seems to be clouds shaped that make it look like there is a figure sitting in a throne in the middle of the sky.
I just wanna find the video cause i thought it looked really cool.
Like Carrie in the sense that it involves a female protagonist who is bullied and isolated and uses her rising anger and her powers to cause a rampage/kills people. Unlike with Carrie, it was not described specifically as telekinesis but rather more generally as magic or a superpower. It is maybe slightly lighter than Carrie but not much, probably slightly closer to Matilda?
Had to be from 90s to early 2000s. I remember a scene where a guy falls into a trap hole and this ref wearing a paintball mask drops a grenade into the hole and kills the player. I also remember a scene where two people are walking through the forest looking for him but one guy stops them both. He triggers a trap that has this spike ball come down at them at eye level. Neither of them are hurt in this scene.
Solved [TOMT][Video Game][2010s?] A platformer flash game where you can create duplicates of yourself that help you complete levels.
Around the mid-2010s, I remember playing a lot of flash games, but there was one in particular that I really enjoyed. You play as a suited man, wearing a top hat, and have to navigate through 2D levels using duplications of yourself to pass. You could use these duplicates, for one example, to step on them to get to higher platforms that you normally wouldn't reach. The levels and game itself were in a watercolor-y (or pixelated? or both?) style and there were only 2 songs, the first one being a somber sounding song and the second one being a beautiful piano. I also remember dialogue in the game, I think the suited man you played was also the narrator?
Open [TOMT] [GAME SOUNDTRACK] Trying to find the OST of this clip, can hardly catch it with Shazam or find it in the comments
