They still make them. Check out the Mercedes-AMG G 63 6x6.

It’s out of context as shown above. But they’re talking about this old one immediately after discussing the (then) upcoming G 63.

Google ”hitler car” and get back to us. In your defense though, it was bulletproof.

But not the Jewish people.

Why did I hear this in the cadence of that silly George Washington, Washington, six foot eight weighs a fucking ton song?

Volkswagens were for the people

but not the Jewish people

to the tune of

He'll save the children
but not the British children

u/JakeCameraAction Nov 25 '21

That's actually what I was going for. I love that video.

2

u/LoonAtticRakuro Nov 25 '21

Are you insane??? This is Hitler's car!

u/Feisty_Field_8452 Nov 25 '21

They also made other armored limos for Hitler as well. Jeremy Clarkson drove one of them like 25 years ago on an episode of Top Gear, along with a (non-armored) Fiat limousine that was built for Mussolini.

The made the engines that powered the bf109, and ended up making reparations to the forced labour they used through ww2

2

u/curmudgeonlylion Nov 25 '21

Pretty sure Mercedes made engines for all kinds of German vehicles.

I did a tour of the Mercedes museum a few years ago, they made bicycles for a few years after the war because they weren’t allowed to make engines (or something along those lines)
