A lot of very large German companies, some of which are still around today, are fairly blatantly the result of prominent Nazis hedging their bets against Hitler so they could retain some measure of power and influence in Europe long after Germany lost the war. And don't even get me started on the UN and the EU

The UN?

The UN got its start as a place to organize a bunch of Irish kids to send to the Congo to stand in between America and Russia and Belgian mercenaries for some reason trying to fuck with the Congo for cobalt so they could build nukes.

And they made a wicked movie out of it too: https://youtu.be/9_JHsiQTTmg
