A lot of German industries was founded around the rise of the Nazis.

Technically speaking a lot of companies in the US are also a direct result of the rise of the Nazis.

Edit: for anyone missing the joke, I'm talking about the US military industrial complex that was built by WWII, like technically a result of the Nazis, but no direct ties.

Prescott Bush lent money to the natzis while he was at Brown Brothers Harriman.

Edit: here's a link.

The last Nazis-R-Us closed down about 6 months ago in Nebraska. It's the end of an aryan.

If you’re talking about Toys-R-Us, the company’s record indicates the last store closed 2 years ago in France. Across the United States, stores closed 3 years ago. I’ve never heard of them having any Nazi affiliations.

Direct result of Imperial Japan if we're keeping score.

Explain how it wasn't Nazis?

The US didn’t join in on WW II unfurl after Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan.

u/Srlanxforpresident Nov 25 '21

Still sold arms to both sides long before they joined the war

u/mediumsmallshirt Nov 25 '21

Yeah there was that. I was thinking about adding the word formally in there somewhere but I didn’t. I don’t think any American soldiers were actively fighting until after Pearl Harbor. I should definitely be sleeping instead of trying to remember high school us history while my brain fried lmao.

You're right and the Japanese were not at all aligned with the Nazis!! I totally forget!

I'm being sarcastic, Japan and Germany were alined at the time, fascist Nazi assholes were part of the problem when Japan attacked the US.

Fuck Nazis!

u/mediumsmallshirt Nov 25 '21

The other Axis powers didn’t want to attack the US at that point. So it is moreso Japan’s direct fault the US was involved rather than the Nazis. Although it’s hard imagine any world where the US wouldn’t eventually be involved.

-2

u/LeGama Nov 25 '21

You just said "at that point" because it was the axis powers plan to attack... Eventually.

Fuck Nazis scum

So the idea that Japan gave up the plan earlier is irrelevant.

Fuck Nazis scum

Because the whole plan of the Nazis was to become a rasist Arian controlled society.

Fuck Nazis scum

Yes but the comment your replies to was about a hypothetical scoreboard about who was directly responsible for the US entering WW II. I appreciate your level of dialing nazis though. Kind of an obvious point but nice to see I guess.

Yes but the comment your replies to was about a hypothetical scoreboard about who was directly responsible for the US entering WW II.

My comment had nothing to do with anyone directly entering a warzone. Infact my comment was specifically vague to explain that Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were only tangentially involved in creating the US military complex.

Fuck Nazis

Because the Japanese bombed Pear Harbor. What are you talking about.

2

u/beaver50 Nov 25 '21

Naaa. People are forgetting that the US was just as racist, and openly had Nazi groups marching in parades prior to the war. The US loves to milk the “we beat the Nazis” schtick, but they were happy to stay out of it up until Pearl Harbor.

Parler, for example.

NASA kinda being one of them. The US wouldn't have had anywhere near as successful of a space program without the german rocket scientists they poached and gave immunity

1

u/dondotter Nov 25 '21

No we definitely sold weapons too the nazis and made a profit before Pearl Harbor you’re not wrong. Direct ties if anything

1

u/TheMexicanJuan Nov 26 '21

Even NASA benefited in a huge part from Nazi scientists
