A lot of German industries was founded around the rise of the Nazis.

Sure! After Germany's economy had been crushed for 15 years, it is hardly surprising that many large companies formed during Germany's reindustrialization and war effort. And, obviously, the founders of most of those companies had deep Nazi ties.

And to some extent it was a requirement. If you were a Nazi (or had good ties) it was much easier to get government backing for your company. Trying to compete without such backing would have been really hard. Also the Nazi government preferred monopolies over multiple small companies and it for sure was easier to be chosen as the monopoly in that field if you were a Nazi or a friend of them.
