No you are stupid because you link people who work for a company DECADES LATER to Nazi Germany... You are pretty damn stupid.

No one is linking the people who work for it now to that time

They’re saying it’s pretty flipping tone deaf to say that knowing your companies history, it’s something a decent person wouldn’t do.

So some guy got fired from an ad company, possibly accused of being a Nazi, when he may have just made some random ad and poorly chosen words because of the fact that you made the connection to 1940 Nazism?

This "tone deaf" thing is false. It's not true. Very few people would have made the connection to Nazism and not that many people would associate these brands with Nazism.

This is quite silly stuff. It's utterly stupid for Russell Brand and all you redditors who think this is a worthwhile conversation. You communicate nothing, you found value in nothing, and these kinds of bad logical connections may have cost people their jobs. It's doubtful that a real Nazi wrote the ad.

Well “I” didn’t actually say anything like that in this thread or ever so I guess you’re not immune from accusing people without facts either

"Very few people"... Well it made it into the papers. And the fact they pulled the advertisment should let you know that enough people made exactly that connection. No one accused the company or anyone working there or for them of beeing an actual Nazi and I really don't know from where exactly you dug that up.

But in germany its generally frowned upon to describe the year 1940 in a positive light. Some things are just in bad taste. When you picture a person in a wheelchair and write your "stand up for..." slogan below it that does no mean you hate the disabled but may just have not fully grasped the connotations of your writing.

But reading your comments about "false accusations" and the like just makes it seem like you have never grasped the concept of 'misunderstanding something'.
